Amsterdam-based founders Hidde de Vries, Serge Brabander, and Guy Rombaut have joined forces and have announced the launch of Recharge360, a digital firm focusing on workplace well-being.
These founders have a plethora of expertise in the tech and health industries. Hidde de Vries founded The Recharge Company, Serge Brabander founded OneFit, and Guy Rombaut was Bitvavo’s previous CTO.
Recharge360: Everything you need to know
With an aim to improve team well-being and performance, Recharge360 provides an annual online and offline programme for knowledge workers in firms with more than 100 employees.
With the help of Recharge360, employees can collaborate on improving their physical and emotional well-being.
Recharge360 is a spin-off of Hidde de Vries’ previous company, The Recharge Company, a training and coaching agency. The company’s Recharge Weeks urge employees to collaborate for one week on all elements of healthy behaviours, and this notion has been carried over to Recharge360.
Additionally, the programme offers online coaching with licensed coaches, RechargeTalks where experts discuss physical and mental health and a number of team-based well-being challenges, that teams can engage in together.
Co-founder Hidde de Vries says, “I am delighted to take this step together with Serge and Guy. We see that our society is changing rapidly and that workwise we have to do work with fewer people. In addition, employees must constantly learn new technologies, which places a great deal of demand on them.”
“To ensure that employees can continue to perform well and remain mentally and physically fit, it is important that employers support them as much as possible.”
“We see an increasing demand for initiatives in this field, and with Recharge360, we offer organisations a solution to improve team performance. We do this by focusing on taking care of your own energy, rather than reducing work pressure.”
“At Recharge360, our motto is: we don’t work too hard, we recharge too little,” adds de Vries.
Recharge360 mentions in a statement that it can grow its services with ease because it is a web-based programme and mobile application.
The business wants to provide services to major employers in both the local and foreign markets. In their client list, Recharge360 already includes companies like Randstad, Deloitte, Rituals, Unilever, and YoungCapital.
Brief about the founders
The three co-founders have a wealth of knowledge and skills besides their years of experience.
Hidde de Vries is a specialist in mental well-being and performance due to his experience working at Google as a well-being trainer and founding The Recharge Company. This will help in moulding the Recharge360 programme to precisely meet the preferences and requirements of users.
Serge Brabander founded OneFit in 2012, a fitness technology firm recognised for its flexible sports memberships, which he built into a company with 70 employees across three continents. In addition, Brabander claims to have vast experience with growth companies.
Guy Rombaut has held CTO positions at firms such as Bitvavo, Urban Sports Club, and OneFit. He can create Recharge360 as a high-tech firm and achieve enormous scalability with his knowledge and experience in IT and leadership.
